New look. Still on your side.

If you've dealt with student loans, you know what a long winter feels like. Payments that never seem to move the balance. Forgiveness programs that require a law degree to decode. A servicer who puts you on hold for three hours, then gives you the wrong answer anyway.
We picked the name Summer because we wanted to be the season on the other side of that.
That promise matters now more than ever. More than 42 million people are carrying over $1.8 trillion in student debt and nearly 10 million federal borrowers are currently in default. The rules keep changing, and real help is hard to find. Over the coming year, millions will search for a way out, only to find lenders with something to sell.
We wanted to make sure that we are easy to recognize and even easier to trust. Summer is the clarity in the middle of it and there's no other side for us to be on but yours. We're not a lender. We don't service loans. We don't touch your credit. We exist to ensure you're never figuring this out alone.
What that means for you depends on who you are. If you have student debt, it's real money back in your pocket, $45K on average. If you're an employer, it's a benefit that delivers real value to your team in a moment of financial need that is the equivalent of a meaningful pay raise. If you're a government leader, it's the opportunity to help your constituents and enable millions to flow back into your local economy instead of toward loan balances. Different reasons to care. Same company behind all of them.
So yes, Summer looks different now: new colors, new tone, a site that finally sounds like us. What's underneath hasn't moved. We talk to people like people. We make the hardest part of someone's financial life easier to carry.
Summer is and always will be on your side.
